RRB Group D 2022 Notification:
Railway Recruitment Board had released the notification for the engagement of RRB Group D - Level 1 post. This is a golden opportunity for those who are passionate about getting a job in a central government organization. The RRB Group D Recruitment will be done to recruit the candidates for the posts of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, Level-I posts in other departments of Indian Railways. RRB Group D 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria are the most important ones that candidates must have to see and get clarity before starting the online application. Without attaining the prescribed norms the application will not be accepted by the officials.

Nationality
According to the RRB Group D 2022 eligibility criteria, a candidate writing the exam must belong to the following nationalities:
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
(f) Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) above, shall be a person, in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Educational qualification:

RRB Group D 2022 Online Application:
Read all the Information and Instructions detailed in this CEN thoroughly before starting to fill up the application by clicking the appropriate link on the RRB websites. The following are the steps that candidates must follow to complete the RRB Group D 2022 Registration:
- Go to any of the zonal RRB websites that you wish to apply for.
- Select the Railway to which you wish to apply. Please be aware that, Railway once selected cannot
be changed after the preliminary registration is completed and the Registration number is allotted. - Confirm that you have read and understood the instructions clearly by clicking the check box. Click on the “New Registration”
- Then, you must enter your qualification details, the community you belong to. After filling up the details click on the ‘Check Availability’ button.
- Then fill up details like Name, Date of Birth, Aadhar Card Status, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Class 10th Details, Mobile no., Email ID, and click on the ’Continue’ button.
- After filling up the details, a box will appear which consists of all the details filled by you. Click on the ‘I have verified and confirmed that all the details furnished by me are correct’ box or if you wish to change or review the details then tick on the ‘red box’.
- Verification of email ID and mobile number through OTP: On submitting the primary details, OTPs shall be sent to the registered mobile number and email. The candidate should retrieve the OTPs from email and Mobile and then enter OTPs to proceed with the filling up of the application and to make payment through OTP “Activation Link”
- On successful OTP activation, a Registration Number will be generated and sent on a registered email ID and mobile number.
- Candidates can proceed with the online application by clicking on the “Already Registered” button on the Home Page using the Registration Number and password
- Login using the registration number you have received along with your date of birth and enter the captcha (if any).
- Part I Application Form: Provide the details of Educational Qualification, Community i.e
UR/OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, Gender, Religion, Ex-SM, PwBD, CCAA, Minority, Economically Backward Class and Age Relaxation eligibility category as applicable and other details. - Part II of Application Form: Candidate has to indicate his/her priority/preference of the posts
- Choice of Exam Language: English is the default language. In case the candidate wishes to choose any other language, then the same can be selected from the drop-down list of languages. The languages listed are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. In case of any difference/ discrepancy/dispute in the Questions between English and the opted language, the content of the English version shall prevail.
- Payment and Bank Account Details: On completion of application details as above, the candidate will be directed to the payment page to choose payment mode i.e. Bank (Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan) or Post Office Challans and complete the payment process. Chose the mode of payment and complete the payment process
- Uploading of Photo & Signature: Upload your photograph in the dimensions specified for the JPEG format, a signature is done in blank ink on any white surface and category certificate as specified.
- Submit your application form and keep a print of the same for any future reference.

RRB Group D 2022 Selection Process:
The entire RRB Group D 2022 selection process is based on
(i) Computer Based Test(s)
(ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
(iii) Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Note:
- The section-wise distribution given in the above table is only indicative and there may be some variation in the actual question paper.
- There will be negative marking and 1/3 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Where a second stage CBT is deemed necessary and held, the Railway Administration reserves the right to treat the first stage CBT as a qualifying test for the purpose of shortlisting a reasonable number of candidates for the second stage.
Physical Efficiency Test:
Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, candidates shall be called for the Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates will be called for PET Three times the community-wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs/RRCs. Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature
Male candidates:
(i) Should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and
(ii) Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
Female candidates:
(i) Should be able to lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and
(ii) Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
All the eligible candidates have to undergo a Computer Based Test(s) on the specified date(s), time and venue(s) as per the e-call letter to be downloaded by the candidates from the websites of RRBs/RRCs. The information about the e-call letter download shall be communicated through the websites as well as personal email communication to the candidates.
Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates
Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates twice the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options. These additional candidates will, however, be considered for empanelment only if there is a shortfall in empanelment from the merit list or/and as a replacement against the shortfall on account of not joining recommended candidates in the working post or/and any other special requirements.
Medical Fitness Exam:
Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates, and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates. It may also be noted that all candidates successful in DV are sent for Medical Examination. Clearing of such Medical Examinations by additional candidates (those called for DV beyond the notified number of vacancies) will give such candidates no right to be considered for appointment.
Normalization of Marks:
Shortlisting of Candidates for various stages shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them whenever CBT is conducted in multiple sessions for the same syllabus. The normalization scheme to be adopted for shortlisting the candidates from CBT to PET (as applicable) and for document verification is given in detail.
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories:
UR/EWS-40%,
OBC(Non creamy layer)/ SC/ ST-30%,
This percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of a shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them. Where a second stage CBT is deemed necessary and held, the Railway Administration reserves the right to treat the first stage CBT as a qualifying test for the purpose of shortlisting a reasonable number of candidates for the second stage.

a. Mathematics:
Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.
b. General Intelligence and Reasoning:
Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
c. General Science
The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level (CBSE).
d. General Awareness:
current affairs in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subject of importance.
RRB Group D Exam 2022 Preparation Strategies:
The exams conducted by RRB are one of the most competitive exams in the country. There is huge competition among the aspirants due to the announcement of a lot of vacancies. Without a perfect RRB group D 2022 preparation strategy, it will be very difficult for candidates to get pass marks.
- Before making the perfect preparation strategy for the Railway exams, candidates must be well-versed with the aspects of the RRB group D 2022 exam pattern as a whole. The Complete understanding of the syllabus and exam pattern is the first step in making the ultimate preparation strategy.
- Spending at least 3-4 hours per day on each section can enable candidates to complete the entire syllabus within a short duration.
- Candidates must keep all the formulas and shortcuts at their fingertips to simplify the mathematics section and score very well.
- Reading the newspapers and watching tv news every day to get the knowledge of national and international events with more emphasis on domestic affairs.

RRB Group D 2022 Job Profile
- The RRB track maintainer's work includes keeping an eye on the safety of the track line.
- For the Hospital Assistant, the work profile includes providing proper care for passengers.
- Likewise, the RRB Group D Assistant will have work related to their respective departments.
RRB Group D 2022 Salary
The Railway Recruitment Board structures the RRB Group D 2022 salary and allowances. The entry-level Grade Pay for each post in Railway Group D has been fixed.
The RRB Group D Pay Scale - The basic salary of RRB Group D Selected candidates will get in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix of 18000/- per month.
Apart from the above pay scale, RRB Group D employees are entitled to various allowances as well. The RRB Group D allowances permitted to the selected candidates are as mentioned below:

- Transport Allowance (TA)

RRB Group D 2022 Admit Card:
Candidates will have to download the City and Date Intimations, e- admit card and Travel Authority (wherever applicable) from the links provided on the official websites of RRBs/RRCs.
SMS and email messages will be sent to all eligible candidates about the e-Call letter and upload details on their registered mobile number and email ID. No call letter will be sent by post. Eligible candidates can download the e-Call letter 04 days prior to the date of the CBT/PET/Document Verification (as applicable).
Candidates must bring their e- admit card and the same valid Photo ID, the details of which he/she has filled in the application in ORIGINAL to the examination hall, failing which candidates shall NOT be allowed to appear for the CBT/ PET/ DV (as applicable).
Candidates must also bring one color photograph (of size 35mm x 45mm) which was uploaded in the application, for appearing in the CBT/PET/DV(as applicable).
Steps to download the Admit card:
- Candidates have to visit the RRB website of the region you have applied for.
- Then find the Group D admit card download card link available on the home page and click on that.
- Then you will be redirected to the respective login page.
- Enter Your login credentials. Choose English or Hindi
- Enter the registration number which you received at the time of application and date of birth and submit them.
- RRB Group D admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the call letter and take the printout of the RRB Group D admit card 2022 for future use.
RRB Group D Result 2022:
RRB Group D results will be released by the Railway Recruitment Board on the respective regional official website. Results will be published in PDF format, candidates can download their results by filling in the login details used at the time of registration such as registration number and password.
Steps to check the RRB Group D Result 2022:
- Candidates have to visit the RRB website of the region you have applied for.
- Then find the Group D result link available on the home page.
- Click on that and you will be redirected to the login page.
- Candidates can download their scorecard by entering their registered user ID and password
- The result will be available in PDF format.
- The PDF will contain the roll number of all shortlisted candidates. Candidates can search for their roll numbers.
- Download it and take a printout for your reference.
RRB Group D 2022 Cut Off:
Candidates have to get the cut-off marks fixed by the recruitment board to qualify for the physical test. The cut-off marks have been calculated based on some parameters. Some of them are

RRB Group D 2022 Exam Centre Social Distancing Norms:
The Central Government has taken necessary steps to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 disease. In the current situation, COVID-19 has been outbroken throughout India. Along with the central government, RRB has issued the guidelines for the aspirants during the examination. The guidelines are given in detail for your reference.
Wearing Masks
Candidates will have to wear masks at the examination centre. Without wearing the mask candidates won't be allowed into the exam hall. The temperature of candidates will be checked at the entry gate itself.
Maintaining Social Distancing
Every year there will be a huge accumulation of candidates at RRB Group D exam centres. But this year it has been cut down and the exam has been conducted in multiple phases. This has been arranged by the officials to maintain the social distance between the two candidates.
Sanitization of Exam Centres
The sanitization of exam centres after each shift will be done to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Biometric/Frisking
Students' biometric impressions will not be captured at the exam centres. At the entry gate itself, RRB Group D admit card and photo-identity proof will be checked before allowing candidates to enter the exam hall.

Q. When will the RRB Group D 2022 exam be scheduled?
Ans. RRB Group D Exam will be conducted from July 2022 onwards.
Q. Is there any negative mark for the wrong answer?
Ans. Yes, there will be negative marking and 1/3 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer
Q. What is the minimum age to apply for RRB Group D 2022 notification?
Ans. As per the RRB Group D Notification,
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 33 years
Q. What is the educational qualification to apply for RRB Group D Notification?
Ans. Candidates should have passed 10th (OR) ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT (or) equivalent (OR) National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
