SSC CHSL 2022 Notification

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CHSL 2022 notification pdf for the various posts including Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant (PA/SA), and Data Entry Operator(DEO) on 1st February 2022. The SSC CHSL 2022 notification Eligibility Criteria depends on three factors mentioned below

  • Age Limit

Nationality

  • A candidate must be either:

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

  • Provided that a candidate belonging to the categories above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
  • A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.

The SSC CHSL 2022 age limit (as on 1-1-2022) is mentioned below:

Educational Qualification

The following educational qualification a candidate should possess while applying for the SSC CHSL 2022 notification pdf :

  1. For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Candidates should have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
  2. For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Candidates should have passed 12th Standard in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

.Typing Test

  1. The medium of Typing Test will be Hindi or English. The candidates will get the option to select the medium of Typing Test (i.e. either Hindi or English) while filling the online Application Form.
  2. Candidates who will be selecting English medium should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) and those who are selecting Hindi medium should have a typing speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.). 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to about 10500 key depressions per hour and about 9000 key depressions per hour respectively.

SSC CHSL 2022 Exam Centre Social Distancing Norms

Check the SSC CHSL 2022 Exam Centre Social Distancing Norms discussed below:

  1. Carry two copies of the latest passport size photograph (3 cm X3.5 cm)
  2. At least one valid photo-bearing identity proof in ORIGINAL with clear photograph (Eligible photo identity proofs such as 1. Passport, 2. Aadhaar Card/Print out of e-Aadhaar, 3. Driving License, 4. Service ID Card issued to employees by Central Govt./State Govt./ PSUs, 5. ID Card issued by University/College/School 6. Voter’s ID Card, 7. PAN Card, 8. Ex-Servicemen Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defence, 9. Any other Photo Identity Proof issued by Central Govt./ State Govt.).
  3.  If the Photo Identity Card does not contain the complete Date of Birth, then the candidate must carry an additional original document having the Date of Birth as printed on the Admission Certificate (e.g. Admit Card/ Pass Certificate/ Marks Sheet of 10th Class issued only by CBSE/ ICSE/ State Boards; Birth Certificate, Category Certificate, etc. issued only by Central Govt. / State Govt. / PSUs). In case of a mismatch in the Date of Birth mentioned in the Admission Certificate and Photo ID Proof/ the Certificate brought in support of the Date of Birth, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
