- RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) - In this Railway RRB NTPC exam recruitment candidates are selected for various posts such as Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Trains Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Time Keeper, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.
- RRB Group D - In this RRB Group D exam recruitment candidates will be recruited for the Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, Level-I posts in other departments of Indian Railways.

Railway Recruitment 2022: Jobs Offered By Indian Railways
Indian railways offer four levels of jobs. They are,
- Gazetted - Group A
- Gazetted - Group B

Group A Posts
Union Public Service Commission carries out the recruitment process for this category. UPSC conducts Civil Service Exam, Engineering Service Exam, and Combined Medical Service Examination for Group A Posts. The civil services exam covers the Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Railway Traffic Service, Indian Railway Personnel Service, and Railway Protection Force (RPF). Combined Engineering Services Exam includes Indian Railway Stores Service, Indian Railway Service of Engineers, Railway Service of Signal Engineers, Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers, and Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers.
Group B Posts
There is no direct recruitment for Group B posts. Group C employees are promoted to Group B officers.
Group C Posts
There are 21 Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) across all zones in Indian Railways that conduct both technical and non-technical recruitment of Group C posts.
Non-Technical Posts:
