The RRB Technician CBT for CEN 02/2026 was held from 6 to 9 October 2026, and RRB released the answer key with question papers and response sheets on 15 October. Objections are open until 22 October. The 2026 papers are the newest practice material, followed by the CEN 02/2025 papers from March 2026 and the CEN 02/2024 papers from December 2024. All three follow the same pattern.

RRB Technician Previous Year Question Paper PDF Download

Candidates preparing for the Railway Recruitment Board Technician examination should practise previous year question papers regularly to understand the structure of the computer-based test (CBT). These papers provide useful practice in technical subjects, mathematics, reasoning and general awareness, depending on the post and examination stage.

The older CEN 02/2018 Technician exam had a different pattern (75 questions in 60 minutes), so use it only for extra practice. RRB shows each candidate the question paper with their response sheet only while the answer key is open; it does not publish a permanent PDF.

RRB Technician Grade 1 Previous Year Question Paper

Grade 1 Signal is a diploma or degree-level paper, and Basic Science and Engineering alone carries 35 marks. Expect questions on engineering drawing, units and measurements, electricity and magnetism, mass, weight and density, work, power and energy, heat and temperature, and occupational safety. Basics of Computers (20 marks) is also much larger than in most railway exams. Grade 1 was held on 13 March 2026 in the CEN 02/2025 cycle and on 19–20 December 2024 in CEN 02/2024. With only 183 Grade 1 posts in CEN 02/2025, its UR cut offs rose to around 78–84, so accuracy matters.

RRB Technician Grade 3 Previous Year Question Paper

Grade 3 is a Class 10 and ITI-level paper. General Science, with 40 questions from Class 10 physics, chemistry and biology, decides most scores, followed by Mathematics and Reasoning with 25 each. Because Grade 3 has many trades, cut offs vary widely: in CEN 02/2025 they ranged from about 44 to 93 for UR. The full topic list is on the RRB Technician syllabus page.

RRB Technician Previous Year Question Papers with Solutions

RRB Technician Previous Year Question Papers in Hindi
