Selection Methods For SBI Clerk (Junior Associates)

The SBI Clerk selection methods involve an online Preliminary, Main exam and a specified opted local language test.

Candidates need to clear both phases to secure an appointment letter from SBI.
Furthermore, it is important to note that there is no provision for Inter-Circle Transfer or Inter-State Transfer for recruited Junior Associates.
Trained apprentices of SBI may be granted additional consideration in the Main Examination, awarding 2.5% of the maximum marks (equivalent to 5 marks out of a total of 200 marks) as bonus marks. These bonus marks will be given only if an apprentice has completed the apprenticeship in SBI successfully on or before 30.11.2024 and his/ her conduct and performance are satisfactory during the entire training period.
Candidates should note that the opted local language test is only for those who can't prove that they studied the opted language in Class 10 or 12 via a mark sheet or certificate.
Candidates applying for this job in a specific state must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the local language of that State/UT/Special area.

Nationality

Applicants should be Indian Citizens to become eligible for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre in the State Bank of India.

Educational Qualification

As of 31-12-2024 - Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.

Candidates with integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure their IDD passing date is on or before 31.12.2024.

Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2024
