SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2026

The SBI Clerk prelims exam has 3 sections. Maintaining speed and accuracy is a major part of cracking the preliminary examination.

• The prelims exam has sectional timing (20 mins for each section)

• Each wrong answer - 0.25 marks deduction

• Each correct answer fetches you 1 mark

The SBI Clerk mains exam has 4 sections as mentioned below.

• Sectional timing applicable for mains as shown in table.

• Each wrong answer - 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted as penalty
