SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2026

The SBI Clerk prelims exam has 3 sections as mentioned below. Maintaining speed and accuracy is a major part of cracking the preliminary examination.

• English Language - 30 questions - 30 marks - 20 minutes

• Numerical Ability - 35 questions - 35 marks - 20 minutes

• Reasoning Ability - 35 questions - 35 marks - 20 minutes

• 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2026

The SBI Clerk mains exam has 4 sections as mentioned below.

• General English - 40 questions - 40 marks - 35 minutes

• Quantitative Aptitude - 50 questions - 50 marks - 45 minutes

• Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude - 50 questions - 60 marks - 45 minutes

• General / Financial Awareness - 50 questions - 50 marks - 35 minutes

• 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

SBI Clerk LPT Pattern 2026

Provisionally selected candidates not having studied (in class 10th or 12th) any of the specified local language of the State applied for, will have to appear in the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).

• Minimum qualifying marks applicable as decided by the Bank in the individual test (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XS/DXS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon).
