The SBI Clerk prelims exam has 3 sections - English Language, Numerical Ability, & Reasoning Ability. Make your strategy by analyzing your strengths. Maintaining speed and accuracy is a major part of cracking the preliminary examination. The SBI Clerk Prelims Exam is based on objective-type questions.

• English Language - 30 questions - 30 marks - 20 minutes

• Numerical Ability - 35 questions - 35 marks - 20 minutes

• Reasoning Ability - 35 questions - 35 marks - 20 minutes

• 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2026: Mains

The SBI Clerk mains exam has 4 sections - (1) General English, (2) Quantitative Aptitude, (3) General / Financial Awareness, and (4) Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. In the SBI Clerk Mains examination, maintaining accuracy throughout the examination will pave the way for success. • General English - 40 questions - 40 marks - 35 minutes

• Quantitative Aptitude - 50 questions - 50 marks - 45 minutes

SBI Clerk LPT Pattern 2026

Provisionally selected candidates not having studied (in class 10th or 12th) any of the specified local language of the State applied for, will have to appear in the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). Candidates are required to score minimum qualifying marks as decided by the Bank in the individual test (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XS/DXS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon).
