A candidate must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v)
above shall be a person in whose favor the Government of India has issued a certificate of eligibility.

IBPS RRB Notification 2024 PDF - Credit History
The candidate applying shall ensure that, they maintain a healthy Credit history at the time of joining of RRBs. The minimum credit score will be as per the policy of participating RRBs, amended from time to time.
Those candidates whose CIBIL status has not been updated before the date of joining, have to either get the CIBIL status updated or produce the NOCs from lender to the effect that there is no outstanding with respect to the accounts adversely reflected in the CIBIL, failing which the letter of offer shall be withdrawn / cancelled.
NOTE: Candidates with no bank account shall not be required to produce the CIBIL status.
