IBPS RRB 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria depends on three factors mentioned below

  • Nationality
  • Age Limit
  • Educational Qualification

Nationality

A candidate must be either –

 (i) a Citizen of India or

 (ii) a subject of Nepal or

 (iii) a subject of Bhutan or

 (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v)

above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

IBPS RRB Online Application 2022

The first step to applying for the exam is to fill the IBPS RRB Application Form. There are two steps to complete this process which are Online Registration and the Online Application Process. In the first place, candidates need to possess an active email id and mobile no. It will be used to receive details or information related to the exam. Candidates can apply for the IBPS RRB 2022 exam in the following steps:

  1. Visit the official website of the IBPS RRB.
  2. After that, select the online link of IBPS RRB available on the page. A registration link will be displayed on the screen
  3. Click on New Registration mentioned on the page.
  4. Submit personal details such as candidate’s name, parents’ name, email id, date of birth, contact number, etc.
  5. Click on the submit button and submit the IBPS RRB 2022 online registration form successfully.
  6. After completing the registration process, the candidates will receive a Registration ID and a password at their email Id and contact number.

IBPS RRB Exam Login Steps

  • In the first place, the applicants need to log in with their Registration No, Password, and date of birth to fill the application form of the IBPS RRB.
  • Then, upload the photograph and signature according to the prescribed format.

IBPS RRB Application Fees 2022

Candidates need to submit the application fee online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, and etc. Refer to the IBPS RRB Application Fee Post wise of the previous year discussed below.

For IBPS RRB officer scale I, II, and III, the following application fee is charged.

  • SC / ST / PWBD candidates – Rs.175.
  • All other candidates – Rs.850.

 For IBPS RRB office assistant (multipurpose), the online application fee charged is given below.

IBPS RRB Salary 2022

IBPS offers lucrative salary packages along with several perks to the employees which enable a huge number of applicants to apply for the different posts every year.

  • The Salary of an IBPS RRB Office Assistant is around Rs 19,000 to Rs 22,000. The PayScale for the post is starting from, Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12,300-700/7-17,200-1300/1-18,500-800/1-19,300

IBPS RRB Exam Centre Social Distancing Norms

The applicant’s Roll Number and the Lab Number’ will not be displayed on the notice board outside the exam venue, but the same will be informed to the candidates when they will enter the exam venue for the verification of the Admit Card/ Call Letter. The candidates can carry only the items discussed below in the following points:

  1. Mask (WEARING A MASK is COMPULSORY)
  2. Personal transparent water bottle
  3. Gloves
  4. A simple pen
  5. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
  6. Exam related documents (Call Letter/Admit Card, ID card in Original, Photocopy of ID Card, etc
  7. Candidates need to carry Call Letter/Admit Card along with the Xerox of the Photo ID. They also need to carry original as well as photocopy of ID Proof for verification purposes. The name of the candidates in the ID should match exactly with the Call Letter/Admit Card.
  8. In the case of Scribe Applicants – The scribe form should be filled and signed along with the affixed Photograph

Q. How many times is the IBPS RRB exam is held in a year?

A. IBPS RRB Exam is conducted annually once a year.

Q. In how many stages IBPS RRB Exam recruitment is conducted?

A. The IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose) is conducted in two stages which are Prelims and Mains exam whereas IBPS RRB Officer Scale I is conducted in three stages such as Prelims, Mains & Interview. The selection process for IBPS RRB Officer Scale II and Officer Scale III will be conducted in two  stages which are Single/Main Examination and Interview Round

Q. What is the age limit to apply for the IBPS RRB 2022 Office Assistant (Multipurpose)?

A. The age of the candidates should be between 18 years to 28 years to be considered eligible to apply online for IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose).

Q. Is there Negative Marking in IBPS RRB 2022 Exam?

A. Yes, there will be negative marking for incorrect responses to the objective questions asked in both the Preliminary and Mains Exam. There will be a deduction of 1/4th or 0.25 marks for every wrong answer marked by the applicants.
