ECGC PO Eligibility Criteria 2022:

The aspirants before applying for the ECGC PO recruitment must check the ECGC PO eligibility criteria which are given below. As per the official notification, the candidates must fulfill the ECGC PO eligibility criteria to be allowed to write the ECGC PO exam. The ECGC PO eligibility criteria include ECGC PO educational qualification, ECGC PO Age limit, and ECGC PO nationality.

ECGC PO educational qualifications: The candidates should be a graduate from any government of India- recognized college or university in any stream. There is no provision of minimum qualification for the candidates as per the official notification of ECGC PO recruitment. All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/Institution/Board recognized by the government of India/ approved by the Government regulatory board. The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidates in all the subjects in all semesters or years by aggregate maximum marks multiplied by 100. 

ECGC PO Age Limit: The ECGC PO Age limit of the aspirants is a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 30 years. The candidates must have been born not earlier than 22.3.1992 and no later than 21.3.2021 (both the dates inclusive).

ECGC PO Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India. The candidate must be the subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Those candidates are Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement. Those candidates are allowed who are of Indian Origin and has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India provided that the candidates are belonging to categories (II), (III), (IV) & (V) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Indian Government.

Physical Disability and Scribe Qualification: Only those persons with benchmark disabilities would be eligible for reservation. The aspirants who possess disability more than 40% in locomotor disability and cerebral palsy/visually impaired candidates/ intellectual disability shall be permitted to avail scribe. Also, these candidates will be given extra compensatory time of 20 minutes. The person who will act as a scribe may be from any academic stream. The candidate himself has to bear the cost of the scribe. The Scribe has to fill out the self-declaration as released by the company and duly submit it on the exam day.
