The Bihar Staff Selection Commission conducts an annual CGL recruitment through the BSSC CGL recruitment process. The Bihar Staff Selection Commission conducts the BSSC CGL exam with 2187 people through the 3rd Graduate Level Combined Competitive  Exam 2022 for various positions such as Secretariat Assistant, Planning Assistant, Malaria Inspector, Data Entry Operator Grade-C, and Auditor posts to fill the vacant seats.

BSSC CGL Selection Process

The selection process for Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) CGL recruitment of candidates for the various posts is based on two stages and they are mentioned below.

• Preliminary Examination
• Mains Examination

BSSC CGL Exam Pattern:

BSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern:

The prelims examination is the first phase of the two-tier selection process and the candidates who are qualified from the preliminary examination will be eligible to attend the mains examination. There will be 3 sections with 50 questions in each section and 150 questions in total with a total of 600 marks. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer from the total. The total duration of the examination is 2 hours and 15 minutes.

BSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern:

The candidates shortlisted from the prelims examination are allowed to attend the mains examination conducted by the BSSC CGL. The mains examination is divided into papers ie papers 1 and 2. Paper 1 is a language paper (Hindi language) having 100 questions for a total of 400 marks and paper 2 will consist of 3 sections with 200 marks in each section. The total marks for paper 2 is 600 and the duration of each paper is 2 hours and 15 minutes.
