Assam Police Constable Syllabus: Exam Overview

The State Level Police Recruitment Board popularly known as SLPRB conducts the Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2022 to recruit the candidates for the post of Constable/ Guardsman (Grade-III). Assam Police Constable Syllabus: Selection Process

Candidates are required to bring all the original documents along with a set of Photostat copies of the documents. All the documents will be checked before the candidate is allowed to appear in the PST and PET as per the given eligibility criteria. The selection process of Assam Police recruitment involves three steps. That is,

Physical Standard Test (PST): This process has no marks.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): It has 40 marks as weightage.

Written exam: this is the final stage of the recruitment process and 50 marks as weightage. In the written test, the aspirants have to answer 100 MCQs and the candidates will get 0.5 marks for every correct answer. The candidates selected from the written test will have to submit the original documents before the date of joining.

The Assam police commission will conduct the Physical Standard test and Physical Efficiency Test before the written examination. The exam pattern for Assam Police Constable is as follows.

Assam Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates, who qualify PST, will have to undergo PET. The Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted in two stages for both males and females

Race ( maximum 20 marks): Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to a 3.2 km race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds). Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).	Race ( maximum 20 marks): Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 1600mtrs. race to be completed within 08 minutes. Long Jump: Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
