  • Candidates must reach the SSC CGL exam centre before time so that they have enough time to finish all the formalities.
  • Candidates must not forget to hold their SSC CGL admit card and other required documents like Id proofs on the day of the examination.
  • Applicants should not carry any electronic gadgets like digital watches, calculators, mobile, etc.
  • The allotment of SSC CGL exam centres will be done on a first-apply-first-allot basis, once the capacity of a particular Centre is attained, an equivalent are going to be frozen.
  • Applicants who cannot get a centre of their alternative will be required to choose a centre from the remaining ones

.No, there is no provision to change the allotted SSC CGL exam centre. The candidates can give their preferences in the application form but the final decision rests with the authorities. Once a centre is allocated, it cannot be changed.

There are a total of 9 regions in SSC. A total of 131 exam centres are divided into these 9 regions. Each region has its own regional office and official regional website.
