Exam Pattern Of SSC CGL Tier 1:

It is an objective sort of paper where the questions have multiple-choice answers. Tier I Examination has 4 sections - Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language. There are 25 questions for each subject and the total marks allocated for all the sections is 200. The total time allotted for the completion of all the sections of the Tier 1 exam is 60 minutes. There is a negative marking for the wrong answer and 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
