SSC CGL City Intimation Not Showing: What to Do?

If your SSC CGL city intimation is not showing, it usually means your region has not yet uploaded your details. Try these steps:

• If the screen says "Your City of Examination is yet to make live", your region has not published your city yet. Wait and check again later.
• Make sure you are logging in on ssc.gov.in with the same registration number and password you used to apply.
• Clear the browser cache, or try another browser or a phone.
• Check your regional SSC website for a notice on that region's city slips.
• If details are wrong or still missing close to your exam date, contact your SSC regional office.

SSC CGL City Selection and Exam City Preference

The SSC CGL Exam Centre city selection happens when you fill the application form, not when the city intimation comes out. In the form, you choose your preferred exam centres within one SSC region, and SSC allots the city based on those choices and seat availability.

• The city intimation only tells you the result of that allotment; you cannot change your city after it is released.
• SSC can allot a centre other than your choices if seats run out.
• There was no separate slot or city booking step for Tier 1 2026; SSC uploaded the city slips directly.

SSC CGL City Intimation vs Admit Card

Keep both, but carry only the admit card and your photo ID to the exam. Read the exam-day rules on the SSC CGL admit card page and the section-wise pattern in SSC CGL syllabus and exam pattern.
