ESIC Stenographer Exam pattern 2024

The candidates who are willing to join as an ESIC stenographer must undergo two phases of the selection process and they are,

• Phase 1: Main Examination
• Phase 2: Skill Test

The candidates shortlisted from the main examination will have to attend the second phase which is the Skill Test. It is an objective-type question paper and there will be 200 questions with each carrying 1 mark that is the exam is for 200 marks. There will be negative marking in the exam and for each wrong answer, 1/4th of the marks will be deducted. The marks obtained in Main Examination will be considered for final selection.

ESIC Steno Cut Off 2024

Skill Test:

The skill test which is phase 2 is qualifying in nature and the candidates who are shortlisted from the main examination will have to attend the skill test. It is a transcription and typing test where the candidate has to type dictation for 10 mins either in English or in Hindi as mentioned in the application form at a speed of 80 words per minute.
