SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2023:

The commission has released the SSC MTS notification 2023 on its official site. This year the commission has modified the exam pattern and selection process. Previously the SSC MTS selection process involves Paper 1 & 2. Paper 1 is an online computer based test consists of Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving, General Awareness & English Language. The Paper 1 was conducted for a total of 100 marks with 90 minutes duration. Then the Paper 2 is a descriptive paper, fully a paper and pen based offline exam.

But this year the commission did some modifications that the selection process is only based on the single stage online computer based exam which consists of session 1 & 2. There is no any descriptive paper for this year. So candidates have to score the prescribed cut off in the computer based exam to get qualified for the PET & PST exam.

In previous year the PET consists of walking and cycling round. But this year in PET(physical eligible test) the cycling round was laid off.

SSC MTS Exam consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions.
All the sections (except General English) will have questions in English & Hindi languages.
There will be no negative marking in Session-I.

The following exemptions are admissible to PwBD Candidates from certain PET/ PST conditions for the permissible disabilities for the post of Havaldar.
