SSC MTS Selection Procedure 2022: The Staff Selection Commission has released the official SSC Multi Tasking Staff 2022 Notification on 22nd March 2022. The exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) for General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States/ Union Territories. The application online starts on 22nd March 2022 and the last date to apply online for the recruitment is on 9th May 2022. SSC MTS Selection Procedure 2022: Overview

SSC MTS Selection Criteria 2022:

The aspirants who are applying for the recruitment check the SSC MTS Selection Criteria to qualify for the exam. The aspirants must pass both stages to get the job. The selection process is based on two stages they are

  • Computer-Based Examination (Paper 1)
  • Physical Efficiency Test  / Physical Standard Test - (PET / PST is only for the post of Havaldar)
  • Descriptive Paper (Paper 2)

Computer-Based Examination (Paper 1): The objective paper consists of Objective Type and Multiple choice questions. The language of the question paper is English & Hindi language for Part II, III & IV. If the aspirants marked the wrong answer there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks. So the candidates are advised to prepare well for the exam and keep the negative marking scheme while answering the questions.

 

Descriptive Paper (Paper 2): The descriptive Paper will be conducted through ‘Pen and Paper Mode. The aspirants write a short essay and letter writing in the English Language. There is no other test after the descriptive paper. The aspirants who crack the objective paper with cut off mentioned on the official notification are eligible to write the descriptive paper. The cut-off varies from one category to another categories.

 

Physical Efficiency Test ( Havaldar Post): The male aspirants walk to 1600 meters in 15 minutes and cycle to 8km in 30 minutes. For the female aspirants walking to 1km in 20 minutes and cycling to 3km in 25 minutes.

 

Physical Standard Test: The height of the male aspirants is 157.5 cms and chest unexpanded to 76 cms and minimum expansion of 5cms. The height of the female aspirants is 152 cms and the chest is 48 kg (relaxable by 2 kg in the case of Assamese, Garhwalis, Gorkhas, and members of Scheduled Tribes).
