Written Exam (CBT) Pattern:

The computer-based test (CBT) that serves as the initial stage of the selection process is here. Candidates have a total of 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes) to complete 4 sections: General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Road Sense, Vehicle Maintenance, Traffic Rules. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with 1 mark awarded for each correct response. There is no deducting marks for giving incorrect answers.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Physical Measurement Test (PMT):

• The minimum height requirement for a Delhi Police Driver is 170 cm,( with relaxation of 5 cm for candidates who are ST, from a mountainous area, or who are the sons of active-duty, retired, or deceased Delhi Police officers or MTSs.
• With a minimum extension of 4 cm, the minimum chest measurement is 81 cm (81-85 cm) [relaxable by 5 cm for applicants from hilly areas, STs, or the sons of active-duty, retired, or departed members of the Delhi Police or Delhi Police MTSs].

Driver Trade Test (Driving Skill):

150 marks will be awarded for the driving trade exam. The candidate's merit position will not be based on the results of the trade test because it is only a qualifying factor.
