The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection has released an official notice regarding the change in IBPS Clerk designation. The IBPS Clerk XIV recruitment is in progress. As of now, the prelims and mains exams were over. The mains result will be released on the 1st of April 2025. Candidates are eagerly awaiting the final results and the provisional allotment list.

Change in IBPS Clerk Designation

IBPS Clerk CRP - XIV notification was released on 1-7-2024. For this recruitment, the prelims and mains exams were completed. Only the mains / final result is pending, which will be released on the 1st of April 2025. Now, the IBPS has officially changed the Clerks designation.

• As per the decision of the Competent Authority, IBPS has changed the designation nomenclature for the Clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks.
• The existing designation of Clerks has been changed to “Customer Service Associate” (CSA) and this change in designation is effective from 01.04.2024.
• Henceforth, the CRP CLERKS–XIV shall be construed and read as CRP-CSA-XIV [Common Recruitment Process for recruitment of Customer Service Associates (CSA)].
• Note -  All other terms & conditions as mentioned in the Detailed Notification dated 01.07.2024 remain unchanged.
