SIDBI Recruitment 2026 - Nationality

To apply for the SIDBI grade A and B notification 2026 pdf, A candidate must be either:

(i) a citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan refugee (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) with the intention of permanently settling in India; or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, SriLanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malwi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination / interview conducted by SIDBI but on final selection, the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him / her by the Government of India.

SIDBI Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process

The selection of candidates for SIDBI Recruitment 2026 will be done based on the following stages. They are,

Phase I (on-line screening examination consisting of one paper comprising seven sections of total 200 marks)
Phase II (on-line examination consisting of two papers of total 200 marks)
Phase III [Interview of 100 marks, which shall include 25% marks for notable achievement in extracurricular activities (District/ State/ National Level), awards/ recognition in service etc. subject to the submission of documentary evidence].

The final selection and ranking of the applicants will be based on their performance in the Phase-II Examination and Interview.
