The aspirants here check the SBI PO new exam pattern 2026. The individual exam pattern for prelims and mains exams are given below. The SBI PO exam pattern covers the details of the number of questions from each section, marks, sectional timings, and exam language. For both prelims and mains each question for which a wrong answer 1/4th of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

The SBI PO Prelims exam pattern 2026 is given below. Check the sections, marks, and timings.

• English Language - 40 questions - 40 marks - 20 minutes

• Quantitative Aptitude - 30 questions - 30 marks - 20 minutes

• Reasoning Ability - 30 questions - 30 marks - 20 minutes

• For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, 1/4th of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty

• There will be no sectional cut-off for prelims.
