SBI CBO Qualification 2025

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government, including an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). In case their job profile does not match substantially or is different than the job profile of a Scale 1 Generalist officer of State Bank of India then the application of such candidates will be summarily rejected at any stage of the recruitment process. The decision of the Bank in this regard would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the Bank in this regard.

Local Language

SBI CBO Apply Online 2025 - Detailed Steps

Here are the SBI CBO apply online steps. Follow these steps and apply for the SBI CBO Notification 2025 PDF.

1. Visit the official site of SBI.

2. Click the SBI CBO apply online 2025 link.

3. Fill out the application carefully. Once the SBI CBO apply online form is filled out completely, candidates should submit the data. 

4. In the event of candidates not being able to fill the data in one go, they can save the data already entered. 

5. When the data is saved, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. 

6. Candidates should note down the registration number and password. They can re-open the saved data using the registration number and password and edit the particulars if needed. 

7. Once the SBI CBO online application is filled out completely, candidates should submit the data. 

8. No change/edit will be allowed thereafter. 

9. After ensuring the correctness of the particulars of the application form, candidates should pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application, by following the instructions available on the screen. 

10. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt and application form will be generated; which may be printed for record. 

11. If the online transaction is not completed, please register again and make payment online. 

12. Candidates can also reprint the e-receipt and application form containing fee details, at a later stage. Please DO NOT send the print-out of the application to the Bank.

SBI CBO Selection Process

The SBI CBO recruitment process involves:

1. Online Exam

2. Screening

3. Interview

4.  Local Language Proficiency Test

Online application and documents of candidates, who are shortlisted based on performance in the online examination, will be placed before the Screening Committee. The candidates who fulfil the required experience as decided by the Screening Committee will be called for the interview.

To be considered for the final selection, the candidates will have to qualify both in the Online Written Test and Interview separately. The marks obtained in the Online Written Test, both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in the Interview for preparing the final merit list. The final merit list would be prepared based on the normalization of marks scored in the Online Written Test and Interview with 75:25 weightage respectively. Marks secured by the candidates in the Online Written test (out of 170 marks) are converted to out of 75 marks and Interview scores of candidates (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25 marks. The final merit list (State-wise and category-wise) is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of the Online Written test and Interview.

Exam Pattern

• The online written exam will have an objective test and a descriptive test.

• The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
