The 71st National Film Awards were held on 23 September 2025, in New Delhi. Where the awards were presented by our Hon. President Droupadi Murmu. These awards are announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on 01 August 2025 in a press conference to honour the best of Indian Cinema for the year 2023. There were 332 entries in the feature film category, 115 in non-feature films, 27 books, and 16 critics’ submissions. The winners, along with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient.
Important Highlights of the National Film Awards of 2025

Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey shared the Best Actor Award: Shah Rukh Khan won for Jawan (his first National Award), and Vikrant Massey won for 12th Fail.
