International Sex Workers Day 2022: International Sex workers Day 2022 is celebrated by the Sex worker groups across the world on June 2nd of this current year. Every year, it is celebrated globally on June 2nd each year all over the world. The day, also known as International Whore's Day, is a commemoration of the prejudice faced by prostitutes, as well as their frequently exploitative living and working conditions. Sex workers' living circumstances are frequently exploitative. It is because sex work is illegal in numerous countries, and as a result, its workers are not regarded the same as those in other occupations. Sex employment is typically dangerous due to the lack of rights that other employees have.

Sex workers' rights refers to a set of goals sought by individuals and groups across the world that pertain to the human, health, and labor rights of sex workers and their customers. These movements have a variety of aims, but they all attempt to legalize and de-stigmatize sex work, as well as ensuring that all people involved in the sex industry are treated fairly before legal and cultural forces on a local and worldwide level. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), globally, women sex workers are estimated to be 30 times more likely to be living with HIV than other women of reproductive age. Female sex workers also face an increased burden of blood-borne infections. Sometimes people don't behave properly with sex workers and they face violence too. Therefore, this day teaches to respect them.
