The LIC Assistant selection rounds contain prelims, mains, and language proficiency tests.
Prelims Exam - The total marks for the prelims exam is 100. In this exam, candidates have to attain the minimum qualifying marks in all the sections. Also, it is mandatory to clear the overall LIC assistant cut off 2022 state wise for the prelims. Only then it is possible to move on to the mains round. In this exam, the English / Hindi language test is of qualifying nature and marks in the language section will not be counted for ranking.
Mains Exam - The mains exam is conducted for 200 marks. Here also, the candidates should attain the section wise minimum qualifying marks and crack the overall LIC Assistant cut off 2022 for the mains. Only then the candidate can qualify for the next round.
Language Proficiency Test - Candidate should have the knowledge of the Official language of the State for which he is submitting the application. Selected candidates are required to prove their knowledge of the Official language of the respective States, before joining. The knowledge of the Official language of the State/ UT will be tested by administering a qualifying test of 25 marks. there is a minimum qualifying LIC Assistant cut off 2022 for this round. A candidate has to secure a minimum 10 marks to qualify the test. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PwBD categories need to secure a minimum 9 marks to qualify the test.
