SSC MTS Revised Result 2026 Out @ssc.gov.in
SSC published the SSC MTS revised result 2026 on 7 October 2026. In the first result on 3 August 2026, SSC did not process the results of 727 candidates because of malpractice. After partial relief from the Central Administrative Tribunal (Principal Bench), SSC has now processed these 727 cases.
Of the 727, 542 candidates are additionally shortlisted for the Havaldar PET/PST, but their candidature is kept withheld because of suspicious activities. Another 15 candidates are shortlisted with their results kept in a sealed cover pending police investigation. All other terms of the 3 August 2026 notice still apply.

SSC MTS Cut Off Marks 2026
SSC released the SSC MTS cut off 2026 as a separate PDF along with the result on 3 August 2026. Candidates had to score the minimum qualifying marks in both Session I and Session II: 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS and 20% for all other categories. Havaldar shortlisting was then done in a 1:7 ratio on normalised Session II marks. For MTS it is released category-wise, state/UT-wise and age-group-wise (18–25 and 18–27 years); for Havaldar it is released category-wise.
The cut off depends on the number of vacancies in each category and state, the number of candidates who appeared, and the difficulty of the shifts after normalisation.
SSC MTS Havaldar Tie Resolution
When two or more candidates have the same normalised marks, SSC breaks the tie in this order:
- Higher normalised marks in the General Awareness section of Session II.
- Higher total normalised marks in Session I.
- Older candidate (by date of birth) gets preference.
- Alphabetical order of names.
