Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre in the State Bank of India.
Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State in the SBI Clerk should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State/UT/Special area.

SBI Clerk - Selection Process
The SBI Clerk selection process will happen in the following stages:

Preliminary exam

Mains exam

Language proficiency test.
In this SBI Clerk selection, candidates clearing the preliminary exam will appear for the mains exam. The final provisional allotment is made for the candidates who clear the mains exam. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State/UT. Candidates who fail to qualify the SBI Clerk language proficiency test will not be offered appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the SBI Clerk language proficiency test.
SBI Clerk - Prelims Exam Pattern

SBI Clerk - Salary
Refer to the article to get complete information about the basic pay as per the SBI Clerk. After getting selected for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in the clerical cadre, the applicants will receive the starting basic pay of Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).
As per the SBI Clerk, the pay scale will be Rs 17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550- 1730/7 -42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The initial gross salary of the Junior Associate is Rs 29,000 per month including DA, other perks & allowances at the latest rate, and two additional increments for newly recruited junior associates graduates.
SBI Clerk - Cut Off
The SBI Clerk exam cut off marks will be published by the SBI on its website. The bank will release the marks scored by the candidates along with the cut off for the state from where they are applying. The candidates participating in the exam are required to successfully log in with their details to check out their marks in the preliminary as well as Mains exams. There is no sectional cut off for both prelims and mains exams.
SBI Clerk - Exam Centres
The candidates are required to choose amongst the given cities as their center of the exam while filling the application for the SBI Clerk. Here is the tentative list of exam centres. For your convenience, state-wise exam centres are given in the link.
SBI Clerk - Admit Card
The State Bank of India will release the Admit Card for both the stages i.e. Preliminary and Mains Exam of SBI Clerk. The candidates willing to appear for the same will be required to download the admit card from the official website once the download link is activated. The candidates can check out the admit card to know their SBI clerk exam centre & date of the exam. The bank will allow only those candidates who carry their admit card to the exam. To download the admit card the candidates have to first visit the official website of the bank.
Post this, they have to log in on the admit card page along with their Registration Number and Password. The admit card will be displayed on the computer screen. The candidates can take a printout of the Admit Card. The candidates while going for the SBI Exam have to carry the admit card themselves along with a valid id proof i.e. Adhaar Card or Pan Card.
SBI Clerk - Result
The prelims & mains exam result will be released on the official website of the State Bank of India. Candidates can go to the site and provide their registration number and password to check the result.
