UNESCO's full form is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. UNESCO is headquartered in Paris, France. UNESCO was founded on 16 November 1945. UNESCO consists of 195 members and 8 associate members. The main aim of UNESCO is to help build a culture of peace, poverty eradication, sustainable development, and intercultural dialogue through education, the sciences, culture, communication, and information.

The main objective of the UCCN cities is to place creativity and cultural industries at the heart of the development plans at a local level and cooperate well actively at an international level. UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) is classified into 7 different fields. They are as follows,
