SSC Havaldar Physical Test 2023 Selection Process

The second round of the recruiting procedure for the SSC Havaldar will include a physical examination. Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test are the two subtests of the SSC Havaldar Physical Exam. Candidates must pass the physical test in order to be hired. Aspirants who qualified the written exam have to appear SSC Havaldar PET and SSC Havaldar PST. Candidates have to qualify the physical test to avoid the disqualification or provisional allotment. Candidates can be called for SSC Havaldar PST and SSC Havaldar PET at any center across the country. Also note that this year the commission has eliminated the cycling from SSC Havaldar PET. Only walking is included in PET for 2023 recruitment.

SSC Havaldar Physical Test 2023 Important Details:

Here we have given some important points regarding the SSC Havaldar Physical Test 2023 for your reference.

A women candidate, who as a result of tests is found to be pregnant of 12 weeks standing or over, shall be declared temporarily unfit and her candidature will be held in abeyance until the confinement is over.

Vacancies against temporary unfit candidates will be kept unfilled in the final result. Such female candidates will be re-examined for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) six weeks after the date of confinement, subject to the production of medical certificate of fitness from a registered medical practitioner.

If found fit, they may be appointed against the vacancies kept reserved for and allowed the benefit of seniority in accordance with the instructions of the government, as amended from time to time.

SSC Havaldar Physical Test Exemption Category

Candidates may note that they must fulfill the requirements for PET/PST as prescribed in the Recruitment Rules (RRs), subject to exemption for PwBD candidates. The following exemptions are admissible to PwBD Candidates from certain PET/ PST conditions for the permissible disabilities for the post of Havaldar.
