Educational qualification: Must have a graduate and possess a degree from a UGC-recognized university. Should possess a second degree Master Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with B.Ed.

Age Limit: The minimum age of the individual should not be less than 21 years. Also, the maximum age limit is 33 years on the date of the APPSC notification release. The maximum age limit is relaxed in the following cases:

• Relaxation of 5 years for an Arunachal Pradesh ST candidate.
• Relaxation of 3 years for individuals working in defense, disabled during hostility with a foreign nation, or is from the disturbed area. In all such cases, the individual has been released from duty.
• Relaxation of 8 years for APST category defense personnel disabled during hostility with a foreign nation or in a disturbed area and was released from work consequently.
• Relaxation of 10 years for PwD category students. For APST PwD students, the age limit is relaxed by 15 years.

APPSC PGT Recruitment 2022: Selection Process

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission will shortlist the candidates on the basis of a written exam followed by a viva-voce test. The written exam will consist of four papers of 100 marks each. The viva-voce test, followed by classroom teaching, will be conducted for 50 marks, as per the APPSC.
