Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti 2023: In India, every year April 14th is celebrated as Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti. Dr. Ambedkar was the son of an officer in the Indian army. Ambedkar and his family belonged to the lowest caste in India and he was considered to be untouchable.  Ambedkar faced a great deal of discrimination during his childhood years. He studied very hard and scored high marks in the high school entrance examinations. The community of untouchables where Ambedkar lived celebrated his success and honored him with gifts and kind words. After gaining independence from the British Ambedkar was invited to become the first law and justice minister and he accepted the offer. He was later appointed to draft India's first constitution to which he obliged and thus the constitution of India came into existence. According to him the problems of the depressed people are not resolved completely through political power. In 1942 he was a member of the Victorias executive council. He fought for safeguarding the rights of the low-class people. He was a social reformer and economist throughout his life.

The contribution of Dr. Ambedkar has been significant and he fought for protecting the rights of the Dalit community. The notable events include equality Janata and mook nayaka etc. He crafted the new constitution for the country. The constituent assembly adopted the new constitution on 26th November 1949. Dr. Ambedkar's contributions have been enormous in establishing the Central Bank of India which is the Reserve Bank of India as he was an economist. He authored three books " The problem of the rupee: Its origin and its solution", "The evolution of provincial finance in British India", and "Administration and finance of East India company. Dr. Ambedkar also plays a vital role in comprehending the Indian economy. The Dalit Buddist movement was inspired by him. People were motivated by him for the growth of agricultural and industrial activities. He also has motivated people for better education and community health. The congress government invited him to become the first law minister when the country was freed from the British administration on August 15, 1947. He was deputed as a chairman of the constitution drafting committee on August 29, 1947.
