SSC CGL Photo and Signature Resizer 2026: Size, Dimensions and Format
Oct 09 2026
The SSC CGL photo and signature resizer helps you get your files to the exact size SSC asks for, so your application is not rejected for a wrong file size or blurred image. In SSC CGL 2026, SSC does not accept an uploaded photo: you capture a live photograph through a webcam or mobile during the application. The signature, however, still has to be scanned and uploaded as a JPG of 10–20 KB.
Use the free resizer below to bring your signature (and a photo for other forms that still accept uploads) to the right size, then check the SSC CGL 2026 specifications, the live photo rules and the most common reasons for rejection.

SSC CGL Photo Size for Other Uses
You do not upload a photo in the SSC CGL 2026 form, but you may still need one. Candidates whose Aadhaar authentication was not completed must carry two recent passport-size colour photographs to the exam centre. Many other recruitment forms still ask for an uploaded photo, usually around 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm in JPG of 20–50 KB; the resizer can produce this too.

How to Use the SSC CGL Signature Resizer
Follow these steps to get your signature ready for the SSC CGL form.
- Sign on plain white paper with a black or blue ink pen, at roughly the size it will appear (do not sign large and shrink it).
- Scan the signature, or photograph it in good light from directly above, without shadows.
- Open the Guidely resizer and choose "Signature".
- Upload the image, then crop it so only the signature remains, with a little white space around it.
- Download the file. Check that it is a JPG between 10 KB and 20 KB and that the signature is sharp and readable.
- Upload it in the SSC application and check it on the preview page before you submit.
The tool works on mobile and desktop. If you picked the wrong file, reload the page and start again.

Common Reasons for SSC CGL Photo and Signature Rejection
Most rejections happen because of avoidable mistakes. Check this list before you submit.

Remove them before capture |
|
Side-facing or dark photo |
Face the camera directly in good light |
|
Not checking the preview |
