IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2026

The IBPS clerk selection process will have the following rounds:

• Prelims

• Mains

• Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)

The candidates have to clear the prelims exam to attend the mains exam. The final provisional allotment is made for the candidates who clear the mains exam. The Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) is only for candidates who hvae not studied the opted local language of the state / UT in 10th or 12th. IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2026

Here we provide complete details of the IBPS clerk prelims exam pattern 2026:

• English Language - 30 questions - 30 marks - 20 minutes

• Numerical Ability - 35 questions - 35 marks - 20 minutes

• Reasoning Ability - 35 questions - 35 marks - 20 minutes

• For each wrong answer, 1/4th of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

• Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.
