• The IBPS clerk exam pattern 2023 for prelims will have 3 sections - English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.

• The Reasoning Ability section contains 35 questions and the time allotted for this section is 20 minutes.

• The Numerical Ability section also has 35 questions. The sectional time for this section is 20 minutes.

• The English language section contains 30 questions and the time duration is 20 minutes.

• For each wrong answer given by the candidate, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. 

• If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
