• BSE Index Services Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), launched India’s first “Saatvik 100 Index” to promote ethical and value-based investing.
• Federal Bank Limited launched the FCNR Max Deposit Scheme, a special Foreign Currency Non-Resident (Bank) [FCNR(B)] deposit product for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).

• Vice President of India and Chairman, Rajya Sabha, P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office to re-elected Rajya Sabha member Neeraj Dangi at Parliament House, New Delhi.

• India successfully tested “Garudastra”, an indigenous 120 mm vehicle-mounted mortar system, developed by Nibe Limited, at the Infantry School, Mhow (MP) under the Military Headquarters of War, for the Indian Army (IA).

• The Government of Gujarat signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) for long-term financial assistance of up to ₹1 lakh crore over a period of two years, beginning from May 2026.
