  • Cooperative banks wishing to change their names are required to contact the Department of Supervision (DoS) at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
  • The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued comprehensive guidelines on information technology (IT) governance and controls for banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).
  • IndusInd Bank has introduced the "IndusInd Bank Platinum RuPay Credit Card" in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

  • Heeralal Samariya, an Information Commissioner, was sworn in as the Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) by President Droupadi Murmu.
  • Pravin Madhukar Pawar, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, has been appointed as the Joint Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a duration of 5 years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
  • Industry body Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) has appointed Venkat Nageswar Chalasani, former deputy managing director of State Bank of India, as its new chief executive.
  • The central government has appointed Goverdhan Singh Rawat and Ajay Kumar Sood as Deputy Managing Directors (DMDs) of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

  • India and Netherlands have signed a Memorandum of Intent (MoI) to cooperate on medical product regulation and enhance the quality of medical products and healthcare services for both countries at Hague,
  • The 6th India-Australia Joint Working Group Meeting on Water Cooperation between the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India and the Department of Climate Change, Energy and Water, Government of Australia was held.
  • REC Limited signed an MoU with RailTel to extend financial assistance upto Rs. 30,000 Crore for Infrastructure Projects to be executed by RailTel in the next 5 years.
  • REC Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of REC Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), under which REC will provide assistance of ₹10.00 crores for a project for "Distribution of Aids and Assistive Devices to Persons with Disabilities" in 25 locations across the country.
  • The 6th India-Australia Joint Working Group Meeting on Water Cooperation between the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India and the Department of Climate Change, Energy and Water, Government of Australia was held.
