  • Bank of Baroda (BoB) has appointed Indian tennis player Sumit Nagal as its brand endorser.
  • Amid the NEET-UG, UGC NET, and CSIR UGC NET cancellation and postponement, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has appointed retired Indian Administrative Officer Pradeep Singh Kharola as the new director general of the National Testing Agency (NTA) till the appointment of a regular incumbent.

  • Axis Bank has decided to raise its shareholding in Max Life Insurance for an amount of up to ₹336 crore.
  • The British telecom operator Vodafone sold 48.47 crore shares or 18% stake in Indus Towers for 1.7 billion euro (about Rs 15,300 crore) through an accelerated book building offering.
  • Fairfax Group, led by Canadian billionaire Prem Watsa, sold a 9.7% stake in CSB Bank via its arm FIH Mauritius Investments.
