Olympic and World Champion Neeraj Chopra won the first-ever Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, delivering a season-defining performance in the World Athletics Gold-level series.

Winning Mark of 86.18 m: Chopra’s third-attempt throw of 86.18 metres sealed his victory on home soil.

Consistent Series of Throws: Opened with 82.99 m (second attempt), followed the winning 86.18 m, recorded 84.07 m in his fifth, and 82.22 m in his final attempt despite a fourth-attempt foul.

Podium Finishers:

Silver: Kenya’s Julius Yego with a season-best 84.51 m.

Bronze: Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Pathirage with 84.34 m.
