Arriving at the exam centre at least one hour before the scheduled time is essential. This allows sufficient time for document verification, security checks, and settling into the exam hall comfortably.
-
Your IBPS PO 2026 admit card is the most important document to carry. It contains crucial details such as your roll number, exam date, reporting time, and venue. Without a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.), you will not be permitted to appear for the examination.
-
Carry only a blue or black ballpoint pen. No other stationery items are allowed inside the exam hall.
-

-
Manage your time wisely during the exam. Attempt the easier questions first and return to the more difficult ones later.
-
Candidates should ensure their fingers are clean and free from mehendi, ink, or oily substances.
-
Remain calm and stay focused throughout the exam. Feeling nervous is natural, but a positive mindset will help you perform better.
-
Keep the exam centre helpline number or IBPS helpdesk contact handy in case of any last-minute issues.
-
Visit the exam centre location in advance, especially if it is far from your home. Planning your route will help you avoid unnecessary stress on exam day.
-
Do not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or Bluetooth gadgets. These items are strictly prohibited and may lead to disqualification.
-
Cheating or engaging in any unfair practices is a serious offence and can result in immediate disqualification. Follow all instructions given by the invigilators and maintain exam discipline.
