Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection will very soon release the official IBPS PO 2022 Notification pdf. The board conducts this examination annually to induct eligible candidates on the post of Probationary Officers in different public sector banks. As per the IBPS PO notification 2022, the candidates who possess all the required eligibility as mentioned on the official notification of Probationary Officer will be called to participate in the selection process. The candidates who will be successful in clearing the different rounds of the selection process will be provisionally placed in different PSB banks of India that will participate in the IBPS PO 2022 recruitment process.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2022
IBPS releases three basic eligibility criteria for its candidates i.e. Nationality, Age Limit and Educational Qualification. The candidate who is able to fulfil all the three will be considered as eligible for the aforesaid post:

IBPS PO Nationality
The candidates who possess the following nationalities can apply for the IBPS PO 2021:
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
IBPS PO Age Limit
As per the IBPS PO Official notification, the basic age limit for the candidates who belong to the Unreserved category is 21 years to 30 years (as on 1-10-2021). However, the candidates who belong to the reserved category will be eligible to seek relaxation in the upper age limit as mentioned in the table below:

IBPS PO Educational Qualification
According to the IBPS PO 2021 notification, as on 10.11.2021, the candidate is required to clear Bachelors degree from a recognised University or college in any stream. There is no mention of minimum marks percentage for the same.

- Visit the official website of IBPS.
- Upon reaching the homepage, find the IBPS PO MT icon from the left-hand side of the homepage. Post this, candidates need to click on IBPS PO MT Apply Link
- Click the tab for new registration.
- After completing your registration, you will get a username and password to your registered mobile number and email Id.
- Using those login credentials open your online application form. On the first page fill in all your details without any mistakes.
- Then fill in your educational qualification details and work experience if any. Don’t provide any fake details. Also don’t leave any mandatory fields empty.
- Then upload the scanned copies of your photograph and signature. All the uploaded documents must be within the prescribed format and size.
- Check the details before giving the final submit option.
- Then pay the online application fee through the debit card, credit card or net banking, etc.
- Take a printout of the online application and fee receipt for future use.

IBPS PO Selection Process 2022
The IBPS PO Selection Process comprises three levels and each level has to be successfully qualified by the candidate to get provisional allotment under different PSBs as Probationary Officers. The three levels of the IBPS PO Selection process is Preliminary Exam, Mains exam and Interview. The board conducts all three rounds separately and there is the minimum cut off marks for each round, the candidates who are successful in scoring marks equivalent to the prescribed cut off will be given provisional allotment by the board in respective banks.

The IBPS PO 2021 Exam Pattern is divided into three levels i.e. Preliminary exam, Mains exam and Interview. IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2022
The IBPS PO Preliminary Exam Pattern is the first stage of the exam pattern and is usually held in the computer based mode. The details of the examination are mentioned in the space below:
- IBPS PO Preliminary Examination is conducted online in computer-based mode.
- The preliminary exam will have three subjects i.e. Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability and English Language. The total questions asked from the three subjects will be 100. There will be 30 questions from English and 35 questions each from Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.
- The preliminary exam will have sectional timing to complete each subject i.e. 20 minutes. The candidates have to exhaust the timing of one section to go for another section.
- As per the marking scheme, the candidates will get 1 mark if he marks correct answer while there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for the wrong answer.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2022
The IBPS PO Mains exam pattern is divided into two sections i.e. Objective Test and Descriptive Test. The descriptive test will be held shortly after the objective test and the descriptive paper of only those candidates will be evaluate who clear the sectional cut off of the objective test.
- The IBPS PO Mains exam is also conducted online in the computer-based mode and has multiple choice-based questions.
- There will be four sections in the mains exam of IBPS PO i.e. English Language, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, General / Finance Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude.
- The sectional timing for each section will be different for each section.
- Negative mark for wrong answer - 1/4th of marks assigned to the question.
The Descriptive test is conducted after the objective test and in this two questions are allotted and the answer of which has to be typed using the keyboard. There will be two questions i.e., Essay Writing and Letter Writing. The maximum marks allotted to this section will be 25 marks and the duration of the test will be 30 minutes.

The Interview is the last stage of the selection process and it carries 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for this section is 40% for the General candidates while for all sections the minimum marks is 35% for the OBC/SC/ST/PWBD candidates. The weightage (ratio) of the Mains & Interview is 80:20 respectively.
