The JAIIB Syllabus 2026 covers 5 compulsory papers: Indian Economy & Indian Financial System (IE & IFS), Principles & Practices of Banking (PPB), Accounting & Financial Management for Bankers (AFM), and Retail Banking & Wealth Management (RBWM). Each paper has different modules that candidates need to prepare for the JAIIB exam. Each paper consists of 100 objective-type Multiple-choice questions for 100 marks. However, IIBF may vary the number of questions to be asked for a subject.
The JAIIB exam duration is 2 hours.
There is no negative marking for wrong answers
Each paper is conducted on a separate exam date.
Candidates can choose to take the exam in English or Hindi while filling out the application form. The selected language cannot be changed after registration.
