The IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria depends on three factors mentioned below

A candidate must be either –

 (i) a Citizen of India or

 (ii) a subject of Nepal or

 (iii) a subject of Bhutan or

 (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

A candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

IBPS SO Age Limit:

The age limit of IBPS SO (As on 01.11.2021) is mentioned below:

  • Minimum Age- 20 years
  • Maximum Age- 30 years

i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1991 and not later than 01.11.2001 (both dates inclusive). There are upper age limit relaxation for various categories mentioned below.

The first and foremost step to applying for the exam is to fill the IBPS SO Application Form. There are two steps to complete this process which are Online Registration and the Online Application Process. In the first place, aspirants should have an active email id and mobile no. It will be used to receive details or information related to the exam.

How to fill IBPS SO Application Form?

Candidates can apply for the IBPS SO exam in the following steps:

Step 1: IBPS SO Registration

  1. Visit the official website of the IBPS.
  2. After that, select the apply online link of IBPS SO available on the page. A registration link will be open on the screen
  3. Click on New Registration available on the page.
  4. Submit personal information such as candidate’s name, parents’ name, email id, date of birth, contact number, etc.
  5. Click on the submit button and submit the IBPS SO online registration form successfully.
  6. After completing the registration process, the candidates will get the Registration ID and a password at their email Id and contact number.

Step 2: Fill IBPS SO Application Form

  1. Firstly, the aspirants should log in with their Registration No, Password, and date of birth to fill the application form of the IBPS SO.
  2. Then, upload the photograph and signature according to the prescribed format.

The IBPS SO Admit Card will be released soon on the official website. The admit card for IBPS SO will be declared a few days before the commencement of the exam.   3. Next, enter the “Registration ID” and “Date of Birth/Password”.

IBPS SO 2021 Selection Process:

The IBPS SO 2021 selection process will take place in 3 stages:

  • Prelims
  • Mains
  • Interview

The candidates should pass each stage to get the final allotment order. The total marks allotted for the Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively.

IBPS SO Exam Pattern
