IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria

The IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria depends on three factors mentioned below

These are the 3 main eligibility factors as per the ibps.in IBPS SO.

IBPS SO - Nationality

To apply for the IBPS SO exam, a candidate must be either –

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

As per the IBPS SO, a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

The IBPS SO age limit is mentioned below:

Minimum Age - 20 years
Maximum Age - 30 years

IBPS SO Cut-off releases after every round of the exam are completed. The candidates have to secure more than or equal to the cut-off of every stage of the exam in order to be selected for further rounds of the selection process.
