Salary

In comparison with other govt jobs, the LIC Assistant salary is much higher. The basic pay of a LIC Assistant (Clerk) is Rs. 14435/- per month in the scale of Rs.14435-840(1) – 15275-915(2) – 17105 – 1030(5) – 22255-1195 (2) – 24645 – 1455(3) – 29010 – 1510(2) – 32030 – 1610(5) – 40080 and other perks and allowances will be included. The gross salary of a LIC Assistant is approximately Rs 30,000/- per month.
Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in three stages which are the Preliminary, Mains exam, and Language Proficiency Test.
All the candidates who have successfully submitted the application form will be called to appear for the Preliminary Exam. Then, the candidates who qualify in the prelims exam will be called to appear for the mains exam. The candidates must note that the preliminary exam will be only qualifying in nature and the marks secured in the Preliminary Exam will not be counted in the preparation of the final merit list.
The candidates who have qualified in the Preliminary Exam will be called to appear for the Main Exam. The candidates who have qualified in the Mains Exam will be called to appear for the Language Proficiency Test.
